It started with gears for tram doors in the 1950s – and Rhein-Getriebe excels through invisible safety in the service of people ever since. In the words of the managing partner Roman Hiersig: „Safety in our industry is a must, and so we just developed it into one of our strengths.“

Flexibility, quality, on-time delivery, experts – these are all our arguments for more safety, for which we are highly appreciated as a specialist for special gears. The knowledge of industry-specific challenges, short development and production cycles, an interdisciplinary expertise and the conviction that product quality is much more than just product turn our products into customised solutions.

Worm shafts and worm wheels, the cores of a Rhein-Getriebe gear, are cogged in-house using a specialised technological process. As a specialist for worm gears, we are, of course, the first point of contact for our customers when gear combinations are used.

Each order is different. None of our products is comparable to another. Therefore, we foster long-term and intensive partnerships with companies from the field of electrical engineering, mechanics and engine and transmission manufacturing. They also give us the plus in flexibility, which is a mandatory requirement for a solutions provider in the field of special gears today.

An example: we purchase ball bearings, shaft seals, brakes, couplings and lubricants from reputable international partners. After completing the production and testing of gears, we use customised packaging for optimal transportation safety and reusable packaging for an environmentally friendly logistics.
