Cold rolling

Cold rolling is a highly efficient manufacturing process that we use at Rhein-Getriebe. Compared to other manufacturing processes, cold rolling offers several interesting advantages: excellent surface quality, achievement of close tolerances and the possibility to produce cost-effectively even small batches within a short period of time are the most obvious.

The cold rolling process also allows to influence the mechanical properties of the material and to obtain interesting combinations of hardness, tensile strength and yield strength.
