ATEX-compliant gears

Among other products, Rhein-Getriebe offers gear units for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. The products meeting the requirements of the ATEX 100a directive are classified under the categories 2 and 3 described in the directive. The gears are available in the form of worm gears, worm planetary gears and special gears.

According to their classification into the categories 2 and 3, and in conformity with the specifications of the ATEX 137 directive, our gears may be used in areas where the atmosphere consists of a mixture of explosive gases or loaded with potentially explosive dust.
